I just purchased SimCity for Mac (I know that I selected for Mac, and the purchase receipt proves I selected the option for Mac), but when I look in my library on my EA app, it shows that it's for Windows and unavailable. Is this a bug? What do I do to get it fixed?
a523d6u53kil There is no version of SimCity you can play on a Mac through the EA App. SimCity was never updated to be 64-bit, and no versions of macOS after Mojave (10.14) run 32-bit apps. The minimum requirement for the EA App itself is Catalina (10.15), so no machine can run both at the same time.
Point is, your only move here is to get a refund. You should be able to do so automatically since you've never launched the game, provided it's been less than 14 days since purchase.

The version of SimCity on the App Store was updated to be 64-bit, so if you still want to play, try that instead. I believe it doesn't include the multiplayer component, but not everyone wants that anyway.
