Thank you. I am getting this error when trying to load Jedi Survivor on my Steam Deck. I've just about 100%'d the game at this point and haven't had this issue. Heck I didn't have this issue in the morning of this day, then suddenly when I tried to load the game in the afternoon, I keep getting this error. So, how do I report all the information you need when I'm playing the game on the Steam Deck? I'd love to figure out how to get passed this. Thanks.
I'm also getting this issue with Frostpunk. I played it 9 hours ago and everything was fine.

The region you're from: USA, West
Are you using an internal or external drive to play your games? Internal
Are you using an HDD or SSD? SSD
Date this issue started: Still happening, noticed this on July 1st
Other error(s)? Before uninstalling the app and running myself into a bigger hole, I originally could not download any DLC. I got the error "something is wrong, try again later". Attempting to repair also got me this error message. Tried to uninstall Sims 4 and reinstall: couldn't reinstall due to the same error again. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the EA app itself: "installation timed out". I really think this is an EA issue and not an internet issue. I don't know what to do, and I'm stressing over this even though I shouldn'tETA: added DxDiag text

Thank you for the new examples.
i have been experiencing issues with the ea app ever since i downloaded it so i could play bf4. i have probably spent more time trying to troubleshoot than playing the games because of how long i have had this problem.

i dont know the ea app version because i cant login

@Red_l2 Thank you for the info. I will send it on over so that they can take a look at the logs.
Why can't we just be allowed to use origin? Trying to download my DLC for the sims, and two of the DLC will not download no matter WHAT. No app refresh works, nothing works. I also cannot play Need For Speed hot pursuit because the EA app will NOT RUN THAT EITHER. So frustrating that we are being told what to do, and how to play our games after spending thousands of dollars. I have a 3070 card, and 32GB of ram with fiber optic internet... so not that isnt the issue either.
Same issue - EC10000.
Windows 10 -Version 22H2 (OS build 19045.3208)

- Other error(s)? Just this EC:1000 error preventing me from using the app to access my games
I've also done a clean boot, disabled my antivirus/malware/vpns, and uninstalled and re-installed the app, nothing's worked.
- Windows version and build number - Windows 11 Build 22621.2070
- Close app open task manager and end task EA background Service
Type "Run" in the start search screen and open it.
Type "%loacalappdata%" on the screen that opens and press enter.
In the new window that opens, find and delete the "EADesktop", "EALaunchHelper" and "Electronic Arts" folders.
This worked for me. Having the same issue. This is why people are leaving to Steam in droves. EA is nothing nut one issue after another. We all know everyone wants to spend hours of their tree time trying to solve the issues they pay EA to solve.
I am going through the same error as you and i don't know how to fix it. Someone help please
Same problem here. All the solutions so far have failed. From the new user making a new account to changing DNS nothing has worked. The app was working and then I was logged out and not I'm completely locked out of the app. I don't think the problem is on my computer as I have no network errors with any other program. Any other solutions would be appreciated.
I ran the task manager (ctrl-alt-del then task manager), sorted the table by name clicking on the top line and I terminated any programme with ea in its name (I had two EA and EA Background Service).
After, I launched EA and everything was fine

Maybe it is totally unrelated, but I have had problems with this since I was forced to use this awfull application.
Restaring my computer multiple times sometimes helped.
But now I don't have this problem anymore. All I changed is disable "Fast Startup" in Windows 10 for an unrelated reason.
After that, I haven't had this problem occur once this week. Maybe something to use when troubleshooting.
still an issue! please fix this!
I've tried everything in the book to fix this error. With my luck nothings worked. If someone can help me with this issue. That would be great.

Check the following post for info and steps to take on this:
Thanks.
Seriously?!!!???!! YOU need ME to go through all of THIS BS just to paly the game? I am cancelling / requesting a refund for ALL ea games and will continue to spread the word on your horrible practices. Try to come home from a day and relax and it becomes and exercise in frustration. No excuse. No more "we're sorry you're having this issue" it is YOUR issue and you all need to fix it permanently. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
UPDATED - So apparently "servers are back online" or whatever... So freakin' what? It will happen again, why should I have to be "connected" to your BS to play a game I paid full price for?!?? Enough. Plenty of other things out there to occupy my valuable time. Go to the Hot Spot EA.
Yeah, I'm going to do the same, much more easy to ask for a refund. I bought the games to have fun, but right now I'm just getting stressed trying to solve problems related to the **** they call EA App 😕
- @EA_Leeuw this answer is complete BS!
