I wanted to send a quick update! Even though it shows the packs are "available on Windows" they still appeared in my game. I didn't notice it until I had bought a pack yesterday, so I don't know if that helped influence it but the items from the stuff pack and kit are both in-game! Hope that helps future players 🙂
I have two packs that were previously on my Origin account, but now show as greyed out on my EA app and says "Available on Windows". And even though I've already owned them, the EA store wants me to buy them again. How do I fix this? I've attached a screenshot.
So basically I got the three kits during some promotion on Epic Games and I was talking to both EA support and Epic Games support. EA support cannot help me because I got those packs on Epic (for free). They say I have to repurchase if I want to play on my Mac. And Epic Games told me that they don’t provide support for The Sims 4 (on Mac). So unfortunately you cannot do anything. But there is a sale going on right now on EA!
Honestly, I didn’t even remember whether I paid for those three packs, and turns out I didn’t, I checked the invoices on Epic. It sucks, but cannot complain much, it was for free.
Hope that helps.
- @erinmeganxo Did you ever find a solution? I'm having the same problem!
I just bought a new MacBook, and downloaded EA app and The Sims 4. I also migrated my saves folder and usersetting.ini to my MacBook. However after launching the game, it shows that some packs are required to play my save. When I check EA app/Manage/Manage add-ons/ under Owned Add-ons I have Fashion Street Kit, Holiday Celebration Pack, Jungle adventure and Luxury Party Stuff that say “Available on Windows”. My other 14 packs were installed with no issue. How can I get these 4 packs to download and work?
- @Hedgehog4apples I have the same problem. Dont bother with contacting costumer service because they wont help you. I contacted them and they told me that they'll send my case somewhere and they'll contact me in the game if they resolve it. I hope they'll resolve this because there are many people like us, but I'm not very optimistic.
I have 3 packs that are sitting in my "add-ons" but are greyed out and will not allow me to download/reinstall them. When I load the Sims game it says the packs have already been purchased and that I just need to reinstall but the EA app will not allow me to.
i'm on Mac and just switched to the EA app and when I log in i'm missing 3 add-ons I had previously purchased (Jungle Adventure, Street Fashion kit, and Luxury party stuff to be specific). They are downloaded but showing as greyed out in my manage add-ons tab saying "Available on Windows".
I switched from PC to Mac over a year ago and had no issue with these packs when I was using Origin on my Mac.
Any ideas on how to get these packs back into my game without having to repurchase them?
At the end of the conversation they said that the packs that I bought on steam are not working on mac. I explained that they were working on origin (mac) but they said they can not do anything about it. That's not fair. They are asking customers to pay 2 times for their packs.

@adecamb - I just tried, it didn't work for me. This has been unfortunate.
