Sims 4 Game Crash and Subsequent Failure to Launch

I had the game crash on me around 20 to 30 minutes ago. The screen whited out, and I couldn't close the window, so I shut down my PC. I turned it on again after a minute, waited a bit for everything ...

Chloe_Parker05 wwill0 Did you restart your computer after seeing this error? If not, please do so now. The EA App doesn't always work properly after it or the game crashes.

Mods are less likely to cause this than other more well-known errors, but it's always a good idea to test with your Mods folder removed.

Sorry for responding so late.

Eventually, I just ended up leaving it, but I tried the following day after shutting down my PC overnight, and it worked. Thank you for the tip, though. I'm sure that's probably what was wrong with it, and I'll keep it in mind if I ever come across errors in the future.
