The EA app encountered an error and couldn't finish installing. how to fix this?

so i bought madden nfl 25 on steam. it was my very first EA game. installed it. opened madden ea app started downloading. everything was okay until it said The EA app encountered an error and couldn't finish installing i tried everything to fix it. restarting laptop, reinstalling madden, changing wifi, updating intel software (i had an update) but NOTHING!!!!! if someone knows how to fix it please help me. thanks.
