I have this same problem. Before the last update, I had over 3800 hours. Then after updating, it reset to zero. I had hoped that they would return, even trying to clear the EA app cache, but no such luck.
I do not use CC or mods. Steam has kept track of the 500 hours that I have played on this computer, but I have played on my account for far longer. I was looking forward to finally reaching 4000, but now I won't know exactly when that happens.
