Unable to launch game

Downloaded Battlefield Hardline from Steam, tried to launch the game, Steam stops launching the game and opens the EA app, tried to launch the game from the EA app, brings me to the battlelog website, tried to launch the game from the website, tells me to launch the EA app while EA app is already launched, click over to the EA ap, nothing has changed and a popup from the website that says continue when the EA app is launched but won't let me continue. I have tried to launch the game from the NVIDIA app, similar situation happens. I have tried to go into my files on my computer and the game is not there. Tried opening Steam and the game from the Steam files through NVIDIA in administrator mode, that doesn't work. I am unable to change the display mode from full screen like I have seen some mention when I look this problem up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the EA app and the game in Steam. PLEASE HELP!
