Urgent: Technical "Ghost Ban" (EC:10901) - Account Recovered - No History
I am a PC user. My EA account was compromised in 2024 after I inadvertently downloaded malicious software. After resetting my PC, I did not access my EA account for a long period. In 2026, I purchased EA SPORTS FC™ 26 on Steam, but upon attempting to log in, I discovered that my account had been compromised with an unfamiliar email address. I contacted EA Support and successfully recovered my account.
However, upon trying to access the game, I found that I was banned. When I checked my 'Penalty History,' I saw two entries: 'Lock Account' and 'Ban Football Soccer.' I created a support case, and my account was subsequently unlocked; however, the 'Ban Football Soccer' restriction remained. I created another case regarding this specific issue, but 10 days have passed, and my account remains banned. Furthermore, when I check my 'Penalty History' now, no bans are displayed, yet I still cannot access the game.
I have contacted support by creating cases many times, but the advisors consistently state they lack the authority to intervene. They repeatedly instruct me to follow the same process of creating a new case, but once I do, the system only directs me to a link to check my 'Penalty History.' Currently, my 'Penalty History' shows no violations, yet my account remains banned. How can I get my account unbanned? Please help me resolve this issue.
