Battlefield 6 server issue

Perhaps somebody can help me with this, because I'm getting no response from EA to my tickets raised.  

I am based in the UK but in multiplayer, Battlefield 6 insists on routing me via the server in Santiago, Chile. This obviously causes the game to be completely unplayable, with very high latency and lag, and very poor frame rates. 

There is no option to manuallychoose the server in multiplayer. Whilst this is possible via the server browser, there are very few servers offering the standard game modes, and those that there are have very low player counts. I am completely unable to play the game effectively. 

I have checked that both my EA and Steam accounts show my correct location. I have de- and reinstalled the game and removed all legacy files from my PC in the process. None of this works.  

Any ideas?
