Been waiting on chat support for over 6 hours

My steam account was hacked a couple months back, but got all that sorted out very quickly, but apparently during that time they linked an EA account to my steam which has also been banned. Which has now prevented me from playing any EA games.

Been waiting on chat support for over 6 hours (initial estimate was 15mins) and the timer has been sitting at 0 minutes for the last hour. Seems like a lot of people are having the same sort of issue with mysterious accounts linked to their steam or linked to old unaccessable emails.

Getting ready to give up on this...

How can a huge company like EA have such terrible support? Have previously sent multiple emails through their contact form that have just been completely ignored. It's ridiculous.

P.S For the love of god community managers, thank you for what you guys do, but please don't send me those useless articles about linking/unlinking accounts. There is nothing helpful in there when you don't know who's email has been used to link the account.

  • Currently on day 5 of no response at all to my support ticket. They closed it on day 1 without even responding to it. Re-opened it and I guess now they're just going to leave it open and hope I go away.

  • Same here, account got hacked , trying to get back into playing , and these guys are showing me estimated wait time of 35mins then each minute it actually goes up to 36 37 etc ! the most insane part ? i create an issue, then i m told "ISSUE NOT SUPPORTED" , like okay ? WHO AM I SUPPOSED TO CONTACT IF IT IS NOT EA ? WHO ? 

  • Same here - it is ridiculous, they need to acknowledge the problem and do something about it. I've been waiting over 12 hours for an agent to respond. I can't sit at my computer waiting for someone to respond. The estimated wait time is completely inaccurate and changes with wild fluctuations in the estimate. I was out of the room, returned to my computer and finally an agent had responded and then promptly closed the chat. So now I have had to start all over again.

    Whoever is in charge of the chat support needs to give their head a wobble and sort out the mess that it is. It can't be good for the agents either as they are probably just receiving loads of idle chats where the customer has given up waiting and doing life things instead of staring at the chat for hours on end.

    Worst support service ever, I started at an estimated time of 3 minutes, it s been 40 mintinutes, it keeps going up...And i need to use VPN because there is nothing from Japan (No Advisors BS)

  • CRICKETS FROM COMMUNITY MANAGERS ALL NIGHT TOO NOT EVEN THE USELESS ARTICLES THEY SPAM AT US AND THINK IT FIXES IT. WHEN IN REALITY A CALL CENTER WITH REAL PEOPLE HANDLING MATTERS THINGS WOULD ROLL ALOT SMOOTHER NOT SENDING EMAILS TO A JUNK FOLDER THAT GET OPENED ONCE A MONTH

  • Over 15 hrs now waiting same issues just trying to even talk to a FIRST person about the issue but like i said 15hrs and havent gotten anything here, on X, and same thing with the timer gets down to 1 min sometimes 0 and then restarts at 240mins

    I have the exact same problem, I just found out that my EA account was hacked when I was trying to get into BF6 just an hour after its release. I've also been waiting for 6+ hours for my support chat to be answered but there's no such call. It's such a shame.
