We won't be able to help if you don't own the account, unfortunately. You would need to create a new PSN ID or use an existing one instead. An EA account can only have one PSN ID linked to it in its lifetime so you wouldn't be able to unlink the existing one and link a different PSN ID to the same EA account.
Sorry brother, I think there's a misunderstanding. I am in no way in control over the EA account that is linked to my PS5. It was made by someone I bought a used PS4 from. All I need done is to have that old account disconnected, so I can link MY EA account. I have no way to log in to that old account because I didn't make it. Respectfully, all I keep hearing is that an EA account can only be linked to one PS account. That's great, because I don't want that old account. I've not heard anything about a Playstation being able to only have one EA account connected to it. (Obviously they can't be connected at the same time) My brand new EA account (the one I'm on now) has never been linked to a Playstation account, so by what I've been hearing, it should be able to be connected to my PS5. The problem I'm having is REMOVING the old one. Can't someone disconnect it if I provide the old EA account name and Playstation account? I don't care about saving any data connected with that old account, because it isn't mine.

I understand your situation. Unfortunately, we can't unlink the old account because that requires verification from the account owner. Since you are not the account owner, you won't be able to get it unlinked. You just need to either remove the previous owner's PSN ID from your console or log in to one you own. If your personal EA account has never had a PSN ID linked to it, you can follow the instructions here for linking accounts.

No sir, you do not. I have paid $90 of my hard earned money to play this game that everyone has been talking about, and EA support is doing nothing. EA has been doing NOTHING to help the hundreds of people with the same problem. This is simply a nice scam that EA has going to boost their sales numbers and cheat players out of their money.
If an EA account can only be linked to ONE PS, that means it's only on mine. Technically, I own it. That means I can give someone at EA permission to remove or delete it. EA CAN unlink it, I just need them to do it. HOW do I speak to an advisor to make this happen? Thank you.
I know this is not YOUR fault, but you're working for the company, and hundreds of other people are having the same issue. It's becoming clear that EA only cares about the money, not the people. MAJOR fail on EA's part. No better than Call of Duty at this point. EA has to come up with a solution ASAP. My money doesn't come in as quickly as EA's, and it's becoming clear that they don't care about us.
We need an answer that's better than, "We understand, but you're screwed. Thanks for the money though."

An EA account can only have one of every platform account linked to it in its lifetime. You cannot unlink one ID and link another to replace it. Further, you have to actually own the EA account the PSN is linked to. If you owned the PSN ID as well as the EA account, you could unlink that PSN ID and link it to a different EA account that had not had a PSN ID linked to it before.
The EA account is not linked to your console. It's linked to a PSN ID. This is why I'm saying just remove that PSN ID from your console since you're not going to be using it. You just need to create a new PSN ID to link to your new EA account that has never had a PSN ID linked to it. There is an article that explains how account linking works here.
