EA, Please Make a Tool for Us to Login and Unlink Our Xbox/PS Accounts

99% of the issues posted here the past Beta weekend have been players stating they can't start their EA Demo because our accounts are linked to accounts we cannot login to.

No, your solutions do not work:

  1. We do not know the email you put on these disabled accounts or more importantly why they were paired in the first place or disabled
  2. You have not provided adequate support and your queue is overwhelmed

It's quite simple

Talk to your engineers to make a way for us to login with our Microsoft or Sony accounts and unlink our profiles. We obviously own these accounts if we can login with them.

It will lighten the load of support so they're freed up to help your other customers, we don't have to wait hours for a simple task, and we can get back to playing the game we want.

  • Ea is a joke. 7 days with same problem. They put my tickets as Resolved. Bf6 will hurt from this useless **bleep** support

    It's beyond insane what is going I read your post went through the whole process twice but unlike with you for me they want me to verify account ownership asking me all these questions for an account I made when I was like 13 years old ffs. Anyway I just same as you want the platform account unlinked and your rep was an mvp she unlinked all the platform accounts from your dead ea account. That's all I want I don't mind losing this old ea account with an email I can't even access yet when I tried I got this.

As per our process, we’re unable to perform another verification attempt within the same contact.     It's like they are not listening at all I don't want to recover the account just wipe all the accounts from it they are mine which I can prove how the hell do they think we get the notification an ea account is already linked to this xbox or psn account. Because we have access it's so simple and they are making it just impossible.

    Same, i've tried ever email i ever used and don't get a reset prompt so I feel they just disabled accounts that sat idle un-used (havent played EA games since bf3

  • Yup, a friend is having the same issue but with a deleted email from Shaw, can't get into the email to reset and can't get into the EA account to unlink anything.

    I have the same issue going on and I've been waiting for a chat for 2 days now.....

  • Yes! This! I don't understand why EA neglects the need to help their customers with this especially if the consumers are buying their games. But instead, they say screw you, you can contact us via live chat then not have a live chat support button anywhere smh.
