EA support
What a true horrid experience I've had with you guys. My old email which was linked to many accounts was deleted thus I found myself unable to access some of my accounts. Fortunately in most cases I was able to contact a company's support (case and point Blizzard), and with some info provided I had my access restored.
Not EA though, it seems like a support team simply does not exist and even if it does, you'd have to go through an endless loop to reach anything resembling one. Moreover, I cannot disconnect that zombie of an account from my Steam account, meaning that any game that is linked to EA might suffer from limitations (ie. can't access Dragon Age Keep), so even if I just gave up on whatever games I bought on Origins, I'm still bound to some Omerta type of vow to the old account. Who on earth thought this makes any sense? I'm locked from both playing games I paid for on Origins, AND I can't fully experience games I paid for on Steam.
I would like a solution just so I could at least experience some of the older games I spent money on, but I swear I'll never buy any product from this company again.
Hi yaranwiee,
I'm sorry. I totally get the frustration you're feeling. While I'm limited in what I can do to assist on the forums with account issues, I'll do my best to offer advice.
From your post, it sounds like there are two challenges:
- Playing EA games online: Is the issue with resetting your password, or are the login codes going to your old email that you can't access?
- Reaching the support team: What happens when you try to create a help ticket on the EA Help site? Any error messages or issues with the options you're selecting?
This info will help us get a better idea of what's happening. Could you pop the answers to these questions and any other details that might help in your reply?
Thanks,
- EA_Lanna
