I provided my EA account's proof of purchase and my IP, it was still not enough

I told EA support chat agent that my account was lost because my email was hacked and no longer with me. Through which my steam account was also hacked. With steams legendary support I recovered my steam account. And my proof of purchase from that account. But sadly, I showed my EA support agent those proof of purchase and the IP I played the game on, they still thought its not enough to give my account back. I provided them my steam accounts username through which it was linked as well.

I dont know how else to get it back, my account is lost I had $20 spent on apex and a lot of rare stuff in the apex account but now I can't play the game because apex is asking for registry through my EA account.

  • Hi there, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having such a difficult time trying to recover your account.

The account verification process is required before EA Help can restore access to an account or make changes to it. Unfortunately, if the information provided wasn’t enough to verify you as the account owner, we’re not able to bypass that process or recover the account for you here on the EA Forums.

At this point, the best option is to contact EA Help again and continue working with an Advisor on the account recovery process. When you contact them, provide as much accurate information about the account as you can and answer the verification questions to the best of your knowledge.

I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and I wish there were more we could do from the forums. However, account ownership and recovery can only be handled by the EA Help team.

If you have any questions about how to contact EA Help or where to find the account recovery options, let us know and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

The thing is, Steam asked for even less information than what EA help asked and yet they recovered my steam account successfully.

I’m glad to hear you were able to recover your Steam account.

I understand why it feels frustrating that the EA account recovery process is asking for more information. However, each company has its own security and verification process, and in order to recover the EA account, you’ll need to successfully pass EA’s account ownership verification.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to verify ownership or make account changes here. The good news is that the account may still be recoverable, so I’d recommend contacting EA Help again and continuing with the recovery process. Make sure to provide the most accurate information you can when answering the verification questions.

I know this can take some persistence, but if the account can be successfully verified, EA Help should be able to assist with recovering it.
