Impossible to get help from customer service

I have been going at this for over 2 weeks now with zero resolve.  

Let's start with some basics.

Why do you not have a customer service phone number?  It is unbelievable these days that companies have chosen to get rid of the customer service phone number option.  It is a clear indication that you do not want to help your customers.  EA is a large company and makes millions of dollars.  They can easily afford to have a customer service support line.

On April 11th, 2025, I was banned for absolutely no reason.  I have not had/played an EA game since It Takes Two came out which was well over a year ago.  At that time, I played that game with my sibling and that was it.  The ban came as a complete shock to me as I just mentioned, I had not played an EA game for a long time.  So, as one would do, I contacted EA and disputed the ban.  

The response was silly and showed ZERO lack of evidence or support.  They did not show ANY information on why the ban was put in place and any specifics to indicate what could be done about it.  So, I thought I would simply reply to that email and hope that I would get a more specific answer.  Yet now the second email showed the exact same thing.  It was clearly a copy and paste job.  They say "after careful research" we found this to be accurate with ZERO specifics.  That is all they say.

This really is quite unbelievable from a company this large.  You would think they would have in place a customer service department that gave a crap about you.  So, I tried again, and again.  Same answer.  I had no choice but to contact the BBB.  Well, again same answer, yet again.  "Contact customer service via their website".  It's truly unfortunate this company treats their customers like this.  

So, the only obvious explanation for this is my account must have been hacked and used to violate these terms.  There is a section on their customer service website that says "have you been hacked" contact us.  So, I did this.  Well, what do you know, SAME REPLY.  I think they do not have a department, and it is run by AI.

I thought, I would just make a new account and then not have to deal with this anymore.  Nope, they do not let you unlink your PSN/Steam accounts so now I cannot even play OTHER EA games forever unless I get an entirely new PSN account and Steam account.   I purchased Spit Fiction for $70 and now I cannot play it because it is LINKED to my PSN account on the banned account.  So wasted $70 for nothing.

Just overall this experience has been very time consuming and rather obnoxious.  I have spent most of my morning dealing with this and now spending another 15 minutes to write this.

EA, if you are listening, you really should re-examine your customer service department.  I can assure you, your company will not last if you continue treating your customers like this.

  • Edit: "Newcomer"?  Maybe that means to the forums.  I am a long time Battlefield player.  I played Battlefield 2 on a shared computer as a child, and grew up to play the full lifecycle of BF3 and BF4 on my own PC.  Finally another Modern warfare game comes, and here are my complaints.

     

    Imagine buying a game for $100 and learning that your community (the hardcore community) has become the ugly step-sister.  DICE/EA has decided that the Hardcore player-base does not deserve 100% up-time Hardcore Conquest servers; they decided to rotated 2 horrible game modes in with it as a "Round Robin" rotation.   I have 6 of the 9 or 10 challenges to be completed with vehicles, while this is not the Conquest week.  I am going to pass through this week with failure of it's completion because they have a mismatched game-mode to challenge relationship.

    I can't join Portal servers for some unbeknownst reason: after the map's load bar, I just get a black screen with the BF6 logo in the middle and it kicks me back to the main menus.  This is after waiting for 5 people in the queue before me to pass through, so roughly 2-4 minutes of waiting just to go back to the main menu.

    We deserve dedicated servers for paying for your video game.  Don't relegate me to playing custom servers with awful settings.  I'm coming to the conclusion that this company deserves $0 from me anymore, and I hope that many many people follow in my footsteps and hurt this company's revenue as much as possible, because I want them to fix this.  I want to keep playing their games and giving them money.  In this state, they don't deserve my contribution.

    It's comical seeing more and more of the player-base showing controllers over keyboards.  People are leaving, and rightly so; good riddance.  Wake up EA.

  • I bought SimCity along with SimCity cities of tomorrow, I can log into my account I'm logged in now to make this reply I cannot get support when I go through contact us. I can't get it at all I have a ticket number that doesn't even show up in my cases for that game I can't find that game when I search for games and products it only shows me SimCity buildit. I can't find PC or laptop or computer or Windows on find my console, SimCity will not allow me to run the game in single player it just closes it out as soon as I type single player it only gives me two options single player or quit. Both options quit the game. I can't link my PSN to it. When I have my old PSN connected to it I can't link my new PS into it I don't have my old PSN anymore. It tells me to contact support every time I try to start the game it tells me to contact support every time I try to link my new PSN how do I contact you you have no way for me to contact you so how do I contact support? I don't need to hear go through my website or go through the website because the website does not work it does not work okay listen to the words that are coming out of my mouth it does not work it's broken you guys need to have a direct way for me to email you or to call you for problems because none of the problems you have listed as problems on your website or the problems that I am having so how am I supposed to get help for something if you guys don't give me the option to get help for it?

    No he is right EA as a company as a whole is useless and **bleep** right woeful, you guys ignore all the problems you used to have a phone number but then got rid of it because you dont want to HELP your customers cause you guys dont give a s*** same with the live chat you got rid of that! Company is a f**k**g joke you guys should really start caring about your player base and customers more!
