Incorrect Email Entered When Linking Accounts
Just to add to the hundreds of other similar posts at the moment...
Whilst a bit tired, I tried to link my Steam account to my EA account, and I mistakenly got ONE letter incorrect on the email address which is a simple enough mistake to make, but now the EA account thinks it's paired with a non-existent email address and it cannot be undone.
It's absolutely ridiculous that you can't make a simple mistake like that and re-enter the email address correctly on a second attempt like with 99% of other platforms, or that the linking should reset after 24 hours when the email address has not been validated because it cannot be validated, it does not exist!
A multi billion-dollar company like EA should have much better procedures in place, and at the very least, some form of functional support. The fact that hundreds, if not thousands of people are being let down by this system is dreadful and not conductive to good business practice!
