I read this post dude. I went through a long period of time hating EA as their downloads would never friggin work in the past and they would never try to help me. Coming to the forums wasn't helpful either. No matter what PC I was on, if I set my download speed higher than 20 MB/s my download would just drop to 0 after about 30 - 60 seconds. This was after I have to disable background downloading to get it to download at all. I have 1.5 Gbps internet so my speed wasn't the issue. One day there was a client update and suddenly the downloads started working properly on all my computers. I had the issue for a few years straight with 0 help from a company that I had spent a lot of money with over the decades
