It takes two lost progress because pc shut down

Hello,

today when me and my gf played it takes two localy on one pc, in the middle of playing my pc somehow shut down and when we turned it on again, we launched it takes two and we had 0 progress, it wouldnt let us do anything else then create a new game. I started searching for files in my pc but all of them got lost somehow, like I never played the game, mind you we had about 12 hours played already and we were pretty far I would say. So I tried chatgpt some tutorials and nothing worked, all save files are empty i cant load the latest versions or anything. I also contacted ea and they responedn that they cant do anything because the game doesnt store saves. Is there anything we can do so our 12 hour progress doesnt get lost? Or could we somehow get access to the chapters? So we can just pick the one we ended on? Because right now the only thing I can click on is create a new game.
