It Takes Two (Nintendo Switch): Error 105-80190000

I just bought the game, so right after I first loaded the game, the very next thing I did was obviously start Googleing this error that is keeping me from playing the game at all. 

I found tons of cases of this issue stemming back 3 years. 

I simply would like to know if EA has acknowledged this issue and has ensured that a fix is coming. 

If this isn’t the case, please advise so I can request a refund for the game. 

FYI: I personally don’t consider janky jerry-rig fixes like switching to a mobile hotspot, or loading the game to get the error, then reloading via another method, etc to be a fix/solution.
