Split fiction keeps disconnecting my friend

It happens when we play online 

6859fe0d7d7419e8 Can both of you go into the settings and reset all settings back to default? Make sure under privacy, usage sharing and sign in to EA account at startup are on?

Online vs local seems to be a big call out and the team as been informed on that one. 

Yes we tried all the settings to default was the first thing i tried and all of the other stuff is on. I’m not sure what else we can do we both also tried reinstalling the game as well. 

6859fe0d7d7419e8 Ive messaged the team on it that the online vs local has issues. At the moment, try a different connection to see if it boots you. I always test a hotspot to see what happens if I have my phone on me. The settings in game are limited so not much you can go in and change.

6859fe0d7d7419e8 let me know if it changes. If it is online and not local, making a lot of changes to your connection may not really do much if it is the servers or something about the friends pass part.

So basically just tried it again, if my friend invites me for the demo we can see the cutscene but when we are on the character selection screen it doesn’t progress us past that. It’s the closest we have been to being able to play the game together only on the demo  but still that’s even messed up and not letting us past the character selection screen. Still doesn’t work at all if I invite him he can’t see the cutscene at all and i have the full game.

6859fe0d7d7419e8 gotcha, good to know. i forwarded this over. Thats odd. Can both of you do a reinstall then before you pair up, go into the settings and manually log into the EA account.

If it shows logged in, log out, and log back in.

I want to see if this helps sync as it seemed to work for a few players.

Yeah unfortunately we tried this still no luck we just have wait till there’s an update because I feel like i’ve tried everything.
