Severe Input Delay in EA FC Clubs 🤮 - (Never Ending Story)

Right now, the mode is once again almost unplayable.

For the past three days, my entire team has been suffering from severe input delay: passes, shots, and movements happen 2–3 seconds after pressing the button.

This isn’t just a minor inconvenience anymore – it completely ruins the gameplay.

And no, the problem is definitely not on my end. I have a top-tier, ultra-stable fiber connection (1 Gbps download / 480 Mbps upload, Telekom). I can play any other online game without any issues, but in EA FC Clubs, the delay is constant and brutal.

Every year, we players invest hundreds of euros/dollar into this franchise. We buy the Deluxe/Ultimate Editions at launch, we spend extra money on in-game content, and we dedicate countless hours of our time and passion.

And what do we get in return?

Broken servers, ignored community feedback, and the same empty excuses year after year.

The worst part is that we players have been patient. We have trusted EA to finally fix these issues.Every year we hope, “This time it will be better.” And yet, every year, EA fails spectacularly.

At this point, it feels like they are either incapable of solving the problems or simply don’t care, as long as the money keeps coming in.

By now, it’s no longer just a technical problem – it’s a matter of respect.

We, the players, deserve better. We deserve a basic, functional experience for the money and loyalty we’ve given EA over the years. I truly hope that FIFA2K (the rumored football project from 2K Games) becomes a reality soon.

EA needs real competition, otherwise, they will never feel the pressure to actually deliver a working product.

Enough is enough!
