The reality is that the case was closed almost as quickly as it started. There was never a trial, no formal charges were held up, and the investigation led nowhere. The story blew up online for a moment, but legally, nothing came out of it.
It’s important to understand that being accused isn’t the same as being guilty. In Hakimi’s case, the authorities didn’t find enough evidence to move forward, and the whole thing basically disappeared within days. So bringing up this case today to judge or exclude him is completely unfair. If we respect the legal process, we have to respect the outcome too.
