“An error has occurred – You are no longer synced with the online match”

Platform: PC (also affecting teammates on PS5 but just says your club has forfeited)

Game Mode: EA FC 25 Clubs

 

Description:

While playing Clubs, we keep getting disconnected mid-match or right after kickoff with the error message:

 

“An error has occurred – You are no longer synced with the online match.”

 

It instantly sends everyone back to the main menu. It’s happening to multiple teammates at the same time, not just one player.

 

What we’ve tried:

 

  • Restarted routers and PCs/consoles
  • Verified game files and repaired the EA App
  • Checked for Windows/driver updates
  • Stable connection (no lag or packet loss in other online modes)

 

 

Notes:

 

  • Started happening around 2 hours 
  • Happens in both drop-ins and team matches
  • Occurs randomly, sometimes during gameplay or after goals

 

 

Request:

Please check if there’s an ongoing server sync or matchmaking issue with Clubs. It’s making the mode unplayable right now. Any updates or temporary fixes would be appreciated.

  • the issue seems to be with crossplay -

    although this folder deletion fix might work i haven’t tried it 

    disabling crossplay on pc prevents you from the disconnect
