Constant Black Screen that freezes PC

Hello, 

I had a particular issue for a long time and still didn't managed to fix it. So once again i am reaching online for potential solutions.

Here's what's happening:
A black screen full system crash. Once this triggers, there is no power to the keyboard or mouse, no sound, all monitors are losing display (no video input), the case fans are still working but the PC cannot be shut down even thru a force shut down thru the holding of the power button. Only option is to cut power directly (either turn off the PSU or unplug it from the wall).

This issue occurs ONLY in 2 games. EA FC 25 and Need For Speed Unbound. The crash can happen anytime and in any condition while the games are running. Even when AFK in menus. 

I've attempted a full clean driver reinstall, changing performance settings, undervolting the GPU, changing game settings, reinstalling the games, turning off game overlays, killing all background processes, changed monitor configurations in case one is causing sync issues. Nothing worked.
   I doubt its a power or temp issue. I have used third-party software to monitor the temps and power consumption of the GPU while running those games. The GPU doesn't go over 60-65°C and no more than 120W in all my checks. I also played games way more demanding with ULTRA settings and pushed my GPU to the limits without ever getting a similar result even after a full 12h of gaming. Under those other tests playing very GPU stress heavy games the GPU was drawing 280W with a 70-80°C temp and never triggered the Black screen crash result. Only those 2 games. Which makes me believe is something to do specifically with them. Especially that both games are from EA.
The interesting part is that until few month ago ONLY EA FC25 (FIFA25) had this issue where after about 30min-1h of play it would trigger. I got used to it and i was quitting the game after 30min and starting it again to avoid the crashes (which works. If i restart the game every 30min and have 30min game sessions the issue doesn't trigger) But recently NFS Unbound has started doing the same thing. Which i find very weird because i had NFS installed in my PC way before FIFA and worked without issue. FC25 had this problem since the first install and NFS started only a few months ago.


My PC specs are as follow:
Ryzen 9 5900X
32GB RAM
RTX 4070 Ti
850W Seasonic PSU

Any idea what could cause it and how to fix it?

    Hi EA_Darko​. I am back and with sad news. 

    It seems that the game is now having the same issue in the new windows admin account as well. It took longer to happen tho. And now after the first occurrence the issue is persistent as at the same interval of 30min-1h as previous in the original admin account.

    Just an FYI, i did not install the game in the new admin account, i gave it permission to access the game from the installed folder and started it. Could that be also part of the issue? Should i try to install the game from 0 on the new account?? And if this has nothing to do with it then, is there anything else i can do? Someone told me it could be a GPU memory leak. How likely is that?

    EA_Darko​ I am fine with playing on the new account...for now.

    But i would like to eventually make it work on my original one since it would be a bit bothersome to keep switching. You said its going to take a lot to figure out what is the cause of it. Then..do i have the guarantee that a clean fresh windows reinstall would fix it completely? Even tho i am not wanting to reinstall my windows but if thats the most sure and fastest way them im gonna back up my data and reinstall windows.

    Likely a corrupt Windows account RayenN16​ more than anything else.

    It's the kind of thing that is going to take work to get to the bottom of but if you are okay with the new account I'd just play there.

    Hi again EA_Darko​,
    Just tried your suggestions and here are the results:
    -I've run DISM and System File Checker then run the game and the same outcome occurred where the whole system would crash in this messy way as described in the original post. No difference. Also the System File Checker did not found any issues with the system.
    -I've created a new Windows admin account and then run the game on there. Well...to my surprise...IT WORKED. No issue, no crash, no black screen, nothing. FOR HOURS. I kept the game afk in the menu for 2h and if i were to do that before it would've given me the system black screen crash in about 30min. But nothing, then after the 2h afk i kept playing for another 3-4h. Still no issue. 

    So it seems like it works perfectly on another account. Is this potentially pointing at some kind of software on my Windows admin account that it gets tangled with the game? I also do not want to have to do a windows reinstall if thats the required fix here...
