Players prefering their weak foot instead of the strong one

As in the titel my player focus on shooting with the weak foot even when they are in position to shoot with the strong one which is even more confusing for players that got below 4* weak foot as they can't hit the empty goal. As i would rate my own weak foot maximal 2* i go out of the way of using it and would even shoot terrible angles with my strongfoot instead, so seeing "proplayers" (as EA doesn't make them look like they ever played 1 game) shoot shots that they know they will miss, when they have better ways, is just very demotivating. 

If we could decide which foot to use with a terrible button combination it would be one thing but running straight on to goal slowing down focusing on taking a touch with the weak foot then shoot to use the strong foot but it still makes the player use the weak foot is just infuriating.
