Still No Fouls
I have to start by apologizing to EA for my rash judgment of the game. I’ve had some very critical comments, some I still stand by, but I’ve spent some time adjusting sliders (a lot of time) and have created a fairly good balance to my gameplay. However, I still have 2 MAJOR issues I would love a reply to and confirmation of a future patch or update.
- There are ZERO fouls consistently throughout my matches. I’m not getting fouled and I’m not conceding fouls. Lack of fouling has been an issue for years but it is now simply non-existent. Stoppages in play and opportunities from set pieces are such a massive part of football. This has to get fixed asap as it is truly destroying what is otherwise a genuinely fun game to play.
- I exclusively play manager career so this refers to CPU controlled opponents. I’m sure things are great for PvP UT or Clubs, etc. For us playing against bots, the challenge defensively is very minimal. Im playing on Legendary and finding scoring goals to be a challenge which is absolutely fantastic! No longer am I ending matches with 7+ goals every time. That’s perfect! However, I never have to defend my goal. The CPU players just seem lost. They don’t know what to do with the ball and they very, very rarely attack my box. I’ve bumped their sliders up to increase what they do and it results in them launching shots at me from the center circle. Again, this situation is really ruining a really good game. The CPU needs to be much more aggressive going forward and utilize an actual gameplan of some sort.
If you guys can iron these 2 things out, the gameplay will be pretty good. There is a lot this game needs, but from a fun to play and getting my moneys worth standpoint, I’d be happy to see these issues fixed.
