Urgent Support Request: Issues with Ultimate Team
Dear EA Support Team,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience in FIFA Ultimate Team after purchasing the Ultimate Edition.
Foundations Evo Glitch & Poor Instructions
I spent hours attempting to complete the “Foundations Evo” objectives, only to discover—after much trial and error—that I first needed to finish the evolution introduction.
The glitch where objectives appear as complete but then disappear wasted significant time and caused unnecessary frustration.
Transfer Market Lock & Time Gating
After grinding the required objectives over 3 days (14.7 hours in total), I unlocked access to the transfer market, only to then be blocked for another 48 hours before being able to actually use it.
This is especially problematic for competitive players like myself. The Ultimate Edition was purchased specifically for early access, yet this system effectively removes that benefit by placing players behind unnecessary delays and restrictions.
Financial and Competitive Impact
The Ultimate Edition is an additional cost, justified by the promise of early access. However, between glitches, unclear requirements, and transfer restrictions, the experience has been ruined for the most critical period of play.
As a competitive player returning after skipping FIFA 25 due to poor quality, this situation has left me at a severe disadvantage compared to the wider player base.
Blocking market access without warning (no gradual restrictions, just an immediate 2-day ban) is an unacceptable practice, especially when multiple bids are a natural part of the transfer market.
In summary, I have spent nearly $100 for a product that is not delivering the promised experience. Between lost time, glitches, and restrictions, the value proposition of the Ultimate Edition is severely compromised.
I kindly request an official response and clarification on:
- Why these restrictions are in place.
- Whether EA intends to compensate or remedy affected players.
- How EA will ensure returning and competitive players are not put at an unfair disadvantage due to system design flaws.
This is an urgent issue for me and many others in the community. I would appreciate your prompt reply.
