Striker attacking position

Dear EA,

This has annoyed me for years now!!! 
The position the striker chooses often sucks so much....

My number 6 (I play 433 attacking with a number 10. My number 6 is my LCM that plays more defensive than my number 8 RCM) received the ball from my CAM and has a perfect opportunity to Through ball to the Striker. 
Instead the striker moves to the other side of the penalty box. To me this is so dumb. If I would attempt a run I'd get closed down by the number 5 and in the top row the middle player. So to make that run would make 0 sense.  I could attempt a through ball into the run direction of the striker but 100% it will be intercepted by the red circle defender, the number 5 or the number 8.
My striker has 96+3 as Attacking Position rating... I mean... WTF!!! 

This happens so many times in the game it is not just a "bad players choice 1/85" but it is just bad programming. If I was a pro player I'd have talks about this with my striker to be honest... to make the correct runs and not hide between defenders.
If he'd make the yellow line run you can always set up a 1-2 with the passer as well. But with this choice the striker makes a choice to not be part of the game.
If I'd have an 85+ rating player that is great at long shots I'd understand that my striker wants to create space for the shot. But my player is 75+3 and long shots is only 68. Over 20 meters with 68.. Juve has a good goalie. No real chance there. So it doesn't make sense that my striker creates space for a 1/100 shot.
Fix this please... It happens so often that when a player has the ball the striker 'hides' opposed to making the correct run. Then you have to rotate the ball quicker than the striker changes position and then it will work. So it is working around the bad programming to make a player do what you want them to do in the first place.
