EA probably want's you to player lock the striker move him to the other side while you press L2 and therefore there is a skillgap as you gotta help the AI to move not completly idiotic XD the same happens with the RB LB that the drift outside when a winger runs in behind to open the passing lane ^^ this will never change as long as people pay this much for points :/
