You’re not alone in noticing this.
It feels like overall reaction speeds — both defensively and in goalkeeping — have been significantly increased. The CPU closes space almost instantly, and even small shooting windows disappear in a split second.
I’ve also noticed that long-range shots beyond 30–35 meters seem far less viable than before, which further limits attacking variety. Combined with the defensive pressure and fast recoveries, it creates a very narrow range of effective ways to score.
The issue may not just be difficulty scaling, but overall reaction tuning and balance across gameplay.
