Account got hacked and now I've been banned

I need major help from a community manager or anyone.

I was at work and received notifications that my password and email address had been changed.

The account was hacked, and my FC Ultimate Team (PC) was logged into. I managed to recover it using my phone number and change all details back to my own.

Once I've come home to start the game, I get an email saying I've been banned and all access to past, current, and future online FC titles no longer exists.

Supposedly, I've broken TOS via cheating. Never in my 14 years of playing FIFA/FC titles have I ever cheated. Spent a boatload of my own money on FC points and made sure I was adhering to all the rules.

I've submitted an appeal, and they've told me the ban is staying. I can't believe after all these years, never been given any warning of any wrongdoing, and now my account is gone.

I've asked for a refund for my EA Play Pro membership, and they've said no. There is no use for me to have the membership if I can't access the only thing I need it for. It's like buying fuel when you don't have a car. What kind of customer service is this like? Asked to raise a formal complaint or put me through to a higher member of management who can deal with issues like this and got shot down.

On PC only, there have been 450 purchases made. Why the hell would I cheat if I was buying so many things?

Someone help me either sort out my account or get a refund. The TOS team is useless as well, takes a stupid amount of time to get back to you, and provides you with an answer that ChatGPT made up.

    Hey TheZhenn,

If that appeal was not reviewed properly, you're absolutely welcome to submit another. A different member of the Terms of Service team will take a look with a separate appeal, but I'm afraid we're not able to perform those reviews or make any changes to the account via the forums.

It may also be worth contacting support directly (different than the ToS team) to have them review the account compromise separately, even though you've already regained access. If there's additional information about what took place they can help make sure the account recovery process includes the changes from the hacker that can be verified and corrected.
