Button Mapping Issue After Connecting a Gamepad (Keyboard Controls Swapped)
After I connected a gamepad to my PC while playing FC 26, my keyboard button mappings got messed up.
Even after disconnecting the gamepad, the issue remained — in attack mode, the shoot and cross buttons are swapped, but in defense mode they work normally.
When I try to fix the button layout manually or reset the settings file, it works fine until I connect to the EA servers (cloud sync).
Once I go online, the old incorrect button mapping automatically returns.
I want to keep my corrected keyboard settings and still play with uptaded squad (online) , but every time I go online, the cloud overwrites my local settings.
Right now, my other settings in FC26 are also messed up, but I managed to fix them through trial and error, even though the button descriptions in the game are different. However, as I explained above, fixing the shoot and cross buttons has become impossible.
Can you please help me fix this permanently?
