Gameplay and others - Feedback

Returning player from 23  and was hyped as your speech was in a good direction. At the start of the game 3 things needed address imo. Kick offs , corners and jockey speed. This should have been sorted in a Beta by the way. Gameplay was very responsive very sharp with good passing and ability to just left stick dribble.

The game today. Passing and shooting takes sometimes forever even if you have done it in advance seems animations give take forever even if you pressed, this in buildup play lets your forwards many times offside just with the time the pass takes to execute.

First gameplay allowed for buildup, this game today is a counter game, I end games with more possession, more pass completion rate more shots on goal, more xg goals . Because if you shoot in the box which in football is the highest probability I get crazy defences but if I shoot a first time in a counter outside a box it very consistently goes in.

at the beggining Implayed Hallaand and he was nerfed to the ground L2 dribbling was nerfed so more physical players were removed. The fact the best player in game is Pina tells a lot about your game and standards.

I only play men and  I am personally against mixed leagues but if they exist do not make special body types, In Andreas vs Tekkz there’s a play it’s noticeable Pina cannot be physically pushed off the ball. So I would personally split for realism and as they are 2 separate sports. Run female only events and I personally and I believe all people will play them and you won’t annoy the 50 percent plus of your audience which isn’t woke.

Defending is the most inconsistent on game, it’s a lottery. There is no attacking AI, the dummy runs being used to open space is a joke, put a cool down on triggering runs. Goalkeeper movement should be removed.

Stats should by far trump playstyles and yes just add some player ID which will encourage people to try out more players. All teams are the same. I know you make money out of playstyles and roles but do you really on the long run? If the game is to complex and doesn’t play well without this and that will it attract new players. I think it’s interesting for existing ones who go deeper down the rabbit hole but drives away most people who want a game to pick up and go. Rocket League is a highly skilled game but the ground rules pretty easy to pick up.

Your pro event just has triggered runs , player locks and technical dribbling, cut backs, same plays over and over, no creativity needed , just knowing mechanic abuse,

Churning, as a returning player I feel thrown to the Lions, played PUBG and Efootball and still play Fortnite. Most games make a point of offering good experience, because facing mechanic abusers no squad would save me. So make good level skill based matchmaking which will bring people back.

Game modes, Rivals is the best matchmaking but would like to see opponents rating as I believe many are several leagues above 15 is enough , then to 30 it should be gradual. Champs would not play 15 games in 3 days I have a life. 

So I  believe the game has the potential and it is in your best interest to make it work but you are further away from your original vision that you were at the beginning of the season.

Also the game demands too much time. Make it so the essential requires less time but then you have incentives to come back. Examples, much more bounties, stepping stones in rewards and not so far apart, extra SP can be traded in like Fortnite.
