This has happened in the last three updates. As soon as the game updates I lost 10 out of 12 games. I usually get close to half the games won or lost. But after updates like clockwork I lose 8 out of 10 games. Its obvious that since the update everyone got a lot better.
Updates can sometimes change gameplay balance or even introduce connection issues that make everything feel delayed. I’d start by checking ping and packet loss in a match, then try a fresh custom tactics setup and a different formation for a few games to see if the responsiveness improves.
It can definitely feel frustrating when results change after an update, but in b9 game download updates usually focus on performance improvements and balanced gameplay rather than affecting win rates.
Not just me then. This patch is shocking
Glad it's not just me! Went from Div 3 to Div 5 on the back of loss after loss after loss in Rivals. Exchanged messages with a few opponents and all of them were in Divs 3, 2 or 1. Match-making is wayyyyyy off. And then you see a member of Team Gullit saying he's on a Champs streak of 316-0 - how is that possible? Surely people on win streaks get matched against people at their level who are on equally good win streaks? And if that's not happening, then it should be. At least make the game fair.
