My debut icon Totti fits the new Star in Motion evo… what happens if I evo him? Does he still get the upgrade later this month? Will it ruin his icon chem? Will he regain the icon chem if he upgrades later this month? I see his card type seems to change from Debut icon to Evolution II so I’m worried it will ruin his chem… please let me know what would happen if I put Totti in this evo

jmatt123187 Based on last year experience (i.e. FC25) with live/upgradable cards, here is my understanding-
Regarding Upgrades:
Yes, he will get his upgrades as upgrades happen on the base card (In this case Debut Icon) and then reflected onto your account (In your case Evolved Debut Icon). Because of this, you could lose evo upgrades like playstyles (since evos always have max upgrade limits).
For example —
Debut Icon → Champions Icon → Your Evo upgrades path. (Champions version upgrades come in between your Debut Icon and Evo Path. This will limit or remove upgrades that happened with evos)
Regarding Chemistry:
No, evolving icon/hero never ruins their chemistry because their chemistry works based on their different leagues/clubs. Icon and Heros always have different leagues/clubs. The only cards that get ruins are the ones where chem boost depends on card type (e.g. End of an Era, World Tour CornerStone etc.)

but knowing EA you probably get 3 different versions of her for free and 50mil coins as compensation for beeing the winner trying to abuse mechanics xD
so if the icon is fully evolved then the champions icon come out will it max to the champions icon stats but reset play styles potentially? I’ve done sissi to the max and worried that will be stuck at the evolved 86 … wish I used it on another haha didn’t play much last year so wasn’t sure on what happend
A playstyle is just an example in my explanation. The upgrades always take preference over evolution, so they can limit / restrict / remove any player attributes — overall rating, face stats, in-game states, WF, SM, playstyles etc.
