Bug Report PC Hard Freeze on Menu - Solved by Disabling C-States

Hello EA Team,

​I am reporting a critical "Hard Freeze" issue affecting PC users with Intel 12th Gen CPUs (specifically i5 12400F) and ASUS Motherboards.

​The Issue:

The PC completely locks up (deadlock) in the FC 26 Main Menu or after selecting the Personal Settings file. The only way to recover is a hard reset via the power button. No crash dump is generated.

​Root Cause:

It seems the Frostbite Engine triggers a conflict with Intel's low-power states (C-States) during menu idle times on specific BIOS configurations.

​The Fix (Confirmed):

Disabling "CPU C-States" in the BIOS (Power Management) immediately solves the freezing issue.

​Request:

Could you please investigate this power-state conflict for a future title update? Many users are damaging their PSUs by hard-resetting their PCs, unaware that this is a BIOS/Engine conflict.

​System: i5 12400F, RTX 3060, ASUS Prime B660/Z690.
