Cannot Connect to Ultimate Team

Whenever I try to go into Ultimate Team in EA FC  26 on PS5 I get a message saying:

“Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu.”

I’d be grateful if anyone could suggest some ways of fixing this.

I’ve tried restarting the PS5 and our router, clearing caches, rebuilding database, changing DNS and deleting UT squads. I’ve also tried downloading the EA FC web app but it says I  “signed into another device”.

I’ve got an active PS Plus subscription.

    Hi there. Try using the web/companion app to delete your squads. Not the players, just the squads. Then, create an empty squad and try to load into UT again on your PS5. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

  • Hi. Thanks for offering to help.

    However, when I log into the FC Companion App it tells me that I cannot use the app or the web app because I am “signed into another device”. 

    I have closed EA FC fully on the PS5 but that doesn’t seem to make any difference.

    I’ve got 2 complaints I’d like to hopefully solve with you. 1 is on rivals or the South America tournament, as the match is about to start it suddenly says I’ve lost connection and I get my DNF thing all messed up, secondly., I’m unable to log into the game via the ps5, it says must be signed in to ea servers, I’ve tried resetting the router, switching off the ps5, still the same issue and it’s been going on now for an hour, I have the companion app and that’s working just fine, what’s going on with the game today?

    EA_Aljo​ I am getting the same thing. I am able to log into the Companion App only if I log out of EA entirely on my PC. I was in another thread with EAQueenBee, but I haven't gotten much of a response.

    This same message has also been popping up after every Gauntlet game that I played, not allowing me to get credit for the games. This issue has been occurring since the release of this most recent Gauntlet. Today only has the issue expanded to me not being able to connect to UT. It's strange, as it is showing I am connected to EA Connect.
