Champs Disconnection Glitch

I was winning a Champs match 10-7. As the time in the game was about to complete, my opponent conducted 3 consecutive pauses, as the last pause concluded, time expired, and immediately a black screen appeared saying “cannot complete this request” or something along those lines.. I received a disconnection warning and gained a Loss.. This one hurt man. It was a close game the whole time but then I capitalized on some good game play, only to get served a loss. EA please investigate, and if possible give me the win.
