Controller issues?

Im using a ps5 controller with a wired connection on a PC (legion 5pro, ryzen 5 5000, rtx 3060). 

Controller works fine through menus and squad battles but ive just had to forfeit my 8th straight champs game. As soon as im playing competitively the input lag is huge but almost as though my inputs are  being over ridden. 

At kickoff there has been a strange red arrow around the player in center circle. 

Anyone got any ideas?
