EA FC 26 Controller issue (Spotify)

Started FIFA 26 on PC through steam with my PS4 controller while Spotify was playing a song. The controller works fine in the menus, but as soon as I join a division rivals game, it just stops working. I can’t move players, can’t do anything. Turning off Spotify or reconnecting the controller doesn’t help. The only thing that works is to restart the whole game. This is ridiculous. Absolutely frustrating, yall should be ashamed.

It's insane that you can't run a program like Spotify in the background without it completely breaking the game.
