EA FC 26 unplayable on PC due to unresponsive inputs

As mentioned in many threads, the game is unplayable on PC due to being unable to control players during online ultimate team matches. It works on offline modes (squad battles), as well as online divisions outside Ultimate team and even rush. So it must be a specific problem with online rivals. Things I have tried:

- Using 3 different controllers, 2 PS and 1 XBOX.

Changing FPS limit to 60 and 30 FPS, and V sync on

Wired and wireless controllers

Disabling and enabling steam input for controller

In its current state, the game is unplayable on PC. If you're in the UK and in a similar position and fed up, I'd recommend claiming a full refund under your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2016, being that the goods purchased are not fit for purpose. I'm giving EA one more week to solve this as I do want to play again, but otherwise will be claiming my refund.
