I tried the above partly but what worked for me was entering the file location and starting FC SHOWCASE

Eithansito1 In your case, it looks like your game hasn't been installed properly. I'd recommend to delete the whole FC26 and it's cache etc.:
1) Uninstall the game
- EA App/Origin/Steam → Library → Right-click “EA Sports FC 26” → Uninstall.
2) Delete leftover folders (close the EA App first)
- Documents:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\EA Sports FC 26
→ Delete the entire “EA Sports FC 26” folder.
- EA App cache:
C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Cache
→ Delete all contents.
- Local/Roaming app data (if present):
C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\FC 26
C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Roaming\FC 26
→ Delete folders if they exist.
- Install directory (custom paths):
e.g., D:\Games\EA Sports FC 26
→ Delete any leftover folder.
3) Optional (advanced) registry cleanup — be careful!!!
- Win + R → regedit
- Search for keys named “EA Sports FC 26” or “FC 26” under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\
- Delete only FC26-specific entries.
4) Restart your PC.
5) Re-install
- Open EA App/Steam → Install EA Sports FC 26.
- Launch once to regenerate a fresh “EA Sports FC 26” folder in Documents.
