Error 115 EA Javelin Anticheat on FC 26 - Unable to update, tried all solutions

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a blocking issue when launching FC 26 on Windows due to the AntiCheat. I keep getting the security violation window saying: "The latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required to play. Please go to https://help.ea.com/it/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ to find out how to update. (115)".

Initially, when I tried to launch the game, the small anticheat loading screen would appear, then no game window would open and the entire PC would freeze for a few minutes, eventually unfreezing without launching anything and without crashing.

After performing several procedures (listed below), the PC freeze is gone, but the behavior is now this: I launch the game, a black screen opens for a few seconds, then disappears. A couple of minutes pass with absolutely nothing happening, and finally, Error 115 pops up again. It looks like some kind of timeout where the AntiCheat fails to communicate or update.

To avoid repeating procedures I've already done, here is everything I've tested (without success):

- Clean uninstall and reinstall of both the game and the AntiCheat (including manual deletion of the folders).

- Game repair and EA App Recovery.

- Verified that Secure Boot is properly enabled in the BIOS.

- Force-closed any other background AntiCheat services (like BattlEye, Vanguard, etc.) via Task Manager.

- Manual installation of digital certificates from the EAAntiCheat Installer executable.

- Running the EA App and the FC 26 executable strictly as Administrator.

- Changed DNS servers (Google/Cloudflare) and flushed the DNS.

- Disabled Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) in Windows Security.

- Disabled IPv6 protocol in network properties.

- Manual deletion of all EA-related caches in AppData and ProgramData.

- Complete closure of any third-party overlays.

- Clean Boot of Windows, keeping only the EABackgroundService active.

Despite all these attempts, the error persists. Has anyone faced and resolved this exact timeout/error 115 dynamic with the latest Javelin update? Is there any specific log file I can extract to understand what is blocking the AntiCheat connection?

So today i want to share about an issue i been dealing with with lately my game is not starting cause it requires me to download latest update on javelin anticheat hope the admin see this and could solve it ASAP

For some odd reason using EAAntiCheat Installer doesn't help. But guys, if you stumbled upon this error in BF6 for example, after a new update - try launching up the game with VPN. It's weird but it's the third update of the game that makes me do this. After succesfully bypassing the error with VPN you can close it down as it is not required to play the game - just to launch it once (you wont need it until you encounter this error the next time, - until then just enjoy)
Hope it will help someone who sees this thread encountering this error in the future (be aware though that some VPN's might not work with EA app itself, so you have to swap it to something that will actually let you boot up the game)

I'm reaching out about a persistent issue preventing me from playing EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC (purchased via EA App).
Issue: Every time I launch the game, it loads briefly then closes and returns to the EA App, showing this error:
"Security Violation - The latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required to play. (115)"

Troubleshooting already completed:
- Repaired the game multiple times via EA App
- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled EA Javelin Anticheat manually (via EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe) - installer reported success
- Ran EA App and the game as Administrator
- Verified EA Anti-Cheat service is set to Automatic and Running in services.msc
- Checked Windows Defender Protection History for blocked/quarantined EA files - none found
- Updated NVIDIA graphics drivers to the latest version
- Restarted the PC multiple times between attempts

The game worked fine on EA FC 24 and FC 25 on this same PC, so I don't believe this is a hardware or OS compatibility issue - it appears to be specific to FC 26's anticheat.

Could you please investigate this from your end, or let me know if there's a known fix for Error 115 that isn't listed in the public help articles? I'd appreciate a response as soon as possible since I currently cannot play the game I purchased at all.

Ok I fixed in this way
Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\EA SPORTS FC 26\__Installer\EAAntiCheat

Run as Administrator "EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe", select FC 26, click on "Update", wait for application exit and open, wait for updated successed, close the application, run FC26 and finally enjoy the game

Maybe there is a mismatching from EAAnticheat in the game folder and that in folder "AC"..
