FC 26 Javelin Error 95 – EAAntiCheatService starts then immediately stops
Hello EA AntiCheat Team,
I am experiencing a persistent EA Javelin AntiCheat failure when launching EA SPORTS FC 26.
The game does not reach the normal game startup stage. EA Javelin displays:
"EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration.
Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game."
Error shown:
0xB3829EB7DE50BDB7
Windows Event Viewer reports:
Source: EA Javelin Anticheat
Event ID: 1000
ExitType: 0xB3829EB7DE50BDB7 (0x8655617090BA3024)
There is also a Service Control Manager event:
EAAntiCheatService terminated with:
%%4294950327
I performed a live monitor of the EAAntiCheatService during FC 26 startup.
The service state changes approximately like this:
Missing
→ Stopped
→ Start Pending
→ Stopped
The service stops almost immediately after entering Start Pending.
During the monitoring period, the EAAntiCheat kernel driver never became active before the service stopped.
My latest EA AntiCheat session information, captured immediately after reproducing the issue:
LastSessionId:
0ShnByDq77Tx3drv583KTeV3q6Zs5W9QUE31U0z5Gvwf4nhw
LastServiceSessionId:
NOT PRESENT / NOT GENERATED
Current system state:
Windows 11 24H2
OS Build: 26100.9168
Secure Boot: Enabled
The issue was also reproduced on Windows 11 25H2 before rolling back the 25H2 enablement package.
Troubleshooting already performed:
- Completely uninstalled EA SPORTS FC 26 and downloaded/reinstalled the entire game from scratch (~50 GB).
- EA App Repair.
- Completely reinstalled EA Javelin / EA AntiCheat.
- Clean boot with non-Microsoft startup services disabled.
- DISM RestoreHealth and SFC checks.
- Tested without Tailscale/VPN software.
- Removed GearUP and Tuxler.
- Removed GameLoop.
- Removed spacedesk.
- Removed HidHide / ViGEm virtual controller components.
- DS4Windows is disabled/not running.
- Temporarily uninstalled Logitech G HUB and tested again.
- Removed/isolated previous VPN/TAP/OpenVPN related drivers.
- Checked known denylisted/problematic drivers including:
msio64.sys
asrdrv101.sys
alsysio64.sys
cpuz141_x64.sys
dbutil_2_3.sys
iqvw64e.sys
procexp152.sys
rzpnk.sys
zam64.sys
zamguard64.sys
None of those drivers are present.
afunix.sys is present, but I verified that it is the legitimate Microsoft AF_UNIX socket provider:
Company: Microsoft Corporation
Authenticode signature: Valid
Signer: Microsoft Windows
I also checked Code Integrity and Device Guard logs around the failed launch and there were no relevant block events.
I tested Windows 11 25H2 and also rolled back the 25H2 enablement package to 24H2. The exact same Javelin Error 95 remained.
KB5121003 is still installed on the current Windows 11 24H2 installation.
It was installed on August 19, 2026.
I attempted to uninstall it through Windows Recovery and DISM, but Windows refused the removal with:
0x800f0825 (CBS_E_CANNOT_UNINSTALL).
I also attempted to roll back the current Windows cumulative update, but Windows reports:
DISM error 0x800f0825 (CBS_E_CANNOT_UNINSTALL).
FC 26 still produces exactly the same Javelin Error 95.
Other games work normally, including Apex Legends.
I also checked my currently running third-party kernel drivers. The remaining ASUS, Intel, NVIDIA, Realtek and Logitech drivers report valid digital signatures.
There are no EA AntiCheat crash dump files generated in:
C:\ProgramData\EAanticheat\Crashdumps
and no useful AntiCheat log is generated in the other expected EA AntiCheat log location.
Could a member of the EA AntiCheat Team please inspect the LastSessionId above in the Javelin telemetry?
In particular, I would like to understand why EAAntiCheatService reaches Start Pending and immediately terminates, why LastServiceSessionId is never generated, and why Javelin returns Error 95 / ExitType 0xB3829EB7DE50BDB7.
At this point I have exhausted the normal client-side troubleshooting steps, including a complete game redownload, AntiCheat reinstall, clean boot, removal of virtual/VPN/controller software, driver signature checks, and Windows 25H2 → 24H2 rollback.
I would greatly appreciate an AntiCheat-side review of this session.
I can provide:
- Event Viewer screenshots
- FC26 diagnostics log
- EAAntiCheatService live-monitor log
- running driver list
- signed third-party driver list
- DxDiag
- any additional Javelin diagnostic information you require.
Thank you.
