I was playing the game consistently for a couple hours. At a random point in the second half of the early access tournament I received a brief bright green screen and then a full shutdown. Xbox Series X needed to manually be turned back on. This happened once in FC26 and once in FC26 Beta.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps or even taken a look at your console to ensure that the fans are not obstructed.

Why are your team not responding to the PC complaints on this forum!? We paid £89.99 and the game doesn't work at all! What are EA going to do about that to compensate us for not being able to play our ten hour trial and now the full game!
I’m having the same issue. I don’t think it can be a system issue with so many people having the same problem with the game.
I can sit on the fifa menus for hours, play the fifa drills etc, but specifically mid game - including kick off - the same crash happens with me, freezes for 2/3 seconds then puts me to the home screen.
I can play every other game on my xbox without any crashes, so it seems like it must be a FC26 issue?
It’s not system related it’s only EAFC that does this specific thing. I just played nba2k26 for 10 hours and not one **bleep** off or green screen. This is an EA problem and you guys are dodging this matter. It’s sad that you guys don’t have a fix and won’t to keep dodging this matter.EA_Darko
This is not a system issue, I experience the same thing with FC26 and I have never experienced any issues like this with any other game I play. I play multiple other online games frequently and continue to never experience this in those games.
Typical EA, rather than resolving an issue that has plagued the game for the last 3 titles, you blame the system. I dont have this issue on any game i play except 1, madden... oh look, another EA game.
It's absolutely not a system issue. This has been happening at the beginning of every new game cycle since at least FC 24. Xbox one version is stable. I've even tried adding extra fans around the Xbox but no change. The game will cause the Xbox x to suddenly power off mid game. It's happened a few times while I've been in the menus doing sbc's but mostly it's while playing a match. I'm currently forced to play the old gen version to avoid disconnects which is garbage.
