FIFA on Xbox – Unable to Save Personal Settings 1 / Syncing Data Loop

Hi all,

I’m on Xbox and every time I launch FIFA I get the error “Unable to save Personal Settings 1”, followed by the game being stuck in a “Syncing data” loop. It never loads past this point.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Full power cycle of my console and router
• Cleared persistent storage and cache
• Deleted local saves, relaunched, and even deleted everywhere to start fresh
• Tried going offline → launching FIFA → back online to force a cloud/local choice
• Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game
• Checked that my Xbox account is correctly linked to my EA account

None of this has fixed the issue, which makes me think my cloud save may be corrupted.

Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a way to get EA to reset/repair the save? I just can’t get into the game at all.
