FUT champions server issues

What is going on with the champions mode, is your server down for that mode?

In every other mode I constantly get around 10ms ping with a stable connection at all times. But the moment I try Champions, the ping meter starts jumping all over the place — going from 16ms to 22ms, then suddenly 32ms completely at random — and I can already see only 4 bars before the match even starts.

At that point I’m not even willing to enter matches like that, because if the ping meter is already showing instability before kick-off, you already know the gameplay is going to feel delayed and inconsistent.

How come that at the same time I go to other modes and everything is fine? Why is it that champions mode is so out of sync?
