Game crashes to deaktop after "retrieving data from the servers"

EA_Aljo​ I already have a separate thread opened since last night. Please I beg you take a look at Anti cheat I am sure there is an issue there, it is not on our hardware or software. We tried multiple workarounds and nothing worked

So same as me and the other person. This is clearly an isolated issue on their end

yes it did. it was working great as usual but suddenly out of nowhere the game wont start now. Its been 16-17 hours since the game isnt starting now

You are the 3rd person including me reporting this issue. Did it start around 15-16 hours ago?

EA_Pulsar​ I am facing the same issue as jegervladimir​. Tried everything but the game doesn't work. It was working great for the past months ever since i purchased it but now I'm facing the same issue as jegervladimir​ 

None of that worked. This is clearly on your end and you need to find a fix. Because it's not possible the game works fine for 7 months, and it works the very same day, and one hour later it doesn't

Hey jegervladimir​. Thansk for your report. If you are still experiencing these issues, try these additional steps and let me know if that works: 

1. Delete the FC26 local cache/config files:
   • Make a copy and delete the existing settings folder from this location C:\Users[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 (AppData is usually a hidden folder, so it can be made visible from the View dropdown.) 
   • Launch the game again.
2. Repair Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables:
   • open Control Panel  and go to Programs
   • Repair every “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable”
   • Restart PC afterwards. This helped one of the players with a similar error 
3. Run Windows system repair:
   • Open Command Prompt as Administrator
   • Run: sfc /scannow
4. Add the game and the EA app to Windows Firewall exceptions
