Game won't load despite my laptop meeting min system requirements
Purchased FC26 plus ultimate edition add-on for my son's christmas present.
despite my laptop meeting the min sys requirements, the game won't load. I've spoken to Steam support who tell me I cannot get a refund due to activating an in-game consumable (which I did as I thought it was part of the install process) and that I'd need to speak to EA Support about resolving the loading issues.
After contacting EA support and covering all suggested bug fixes (3 links were shared in the chat log; clear cache, connecting, graphics issues), they were unable to sort the issue out.
So I can't get the issue resolved, nor can I receive a refund. I am not clear from the chat with the support person at EA as to how my case log will be progressed (they suggested that I "upvote" similar issues on this forum, but that doesn't feel like anyone will sort my issue out. I paid over £35 for the game and cannot get any satisfactory support from Steam or EA... I await a support email or reach out...
