INSANE input delay and sudden unresponsiveness
I've seen a few posts about the same issues and have tried everything to make this game playable but nothing seems to work. From YouTube videos, to reddit posts, to EA forums, I have tried it all. So I have the following issues:
- When I start an online game, everything is smooth and the game's pace is normal. After a few seconds, BOOM, input delay of more than 5 seconds making me feel like the controller is not even connected because of how unresponsive the game is.
- At the same point in time, the players start moving in 0.5x speed and with the mix of the input delay, let me tell you that it is torture to even sit through it. What's more concerning is that this slow movement issue happens even in OFFLINE which is even more bizarre.
- Finally, if I run the game for more than 20 minutes, the FPS is locked to 5 even in menus.
I have recently bought a new laptop a week back with more than sufficient specs to run this game and I consistently get 80-100 FPS consistently so I know it is not a laptop issue. I understand how poorly optimized this game is but come on EA, people have spent their hard earned money to buy this sorry excuse of a game just to not even be able to pay it let alone no adequate support is given for the same. I have spent 4 hours trying to fix this game, not even be able to play a single game without any issue both offline or online and am unable to refund the game thanks to STEAM's policy of less than 2 hours of game time. So, I'm trapped with this dead weight now.
